Stripes, I love them. I popped in to Country Road and Trenery the other day to see what is new on the shelves. I found a lot of gorgeous things but the style that stood out were the horizontal stripes.
Being hard to wear (they make the illusion that you are wider) the quality of the design of the garment and the worth of the fabric really play a huge part.
Horizontal stripes are sailor inspired, they are pull from vintage roots and can be dressed up or down. Especially when they are couples with natural colours and casual lunches. The Trenery line is too good to be true… I can feel that shopping bug itching again.
