Being a designer, you have a certain connection with type, fonts, letters.
Me myself, I am also a dog person. 'Must Love Dogs' is a trait I look for in most friends... well sometimes.

Sometimes, when a person decides what profession to follow, no one tells you the down. You only hear about the ups
"You get to be creative all day!"
"You control the client!" and lets not forget what everyone thinks designers do all day...
"You can do what you want because being 'creative' means you and act, feel and behave like you want..."
Lies.
Some feelings on the situation arose.
I am having one of those weeks where I am wondering why i did not just choose to be a dog walker or window cleaner.
Then i found these little design-orientated-posters-of-delight and remembered; I am not the only designer at the bottom of the graphic styling food chain.

Im loving this 'People Love Music’ design.
I found this on the Behance Network and had to share it with you. The identity was created for the Oslo-based club concept People Love Music who plays hip hop, electronica, funk & soul. Promoting a show the different logos and colours are meant to be used at the same time. The identity represents a composition of different styles and genres, which reflects the artist.
The project is a collaboration between Henrik Wold Kraglund and Ludvig Bruneau Rossow.
Its inspiring if you ask me.
PS. I’m also loving this coral pink colour with the greyscale, super hot right now.

Things to remember
I over think everything, yes I mean everything.
But when I read this, I stopped... for all of five minutes. And then i began over thinking about over thinking the line of over thinking. It was tough, yet fun.
It is just a little reminder that you're not alone. There is always someone else out there on the interweb who is thinking exactly the same ridiculous thought that you are thinking, and you can probably find it, if you stumble enough.

When I was a little girl I lived in England. This Jozi rain everyday situation always brings back fond memories of those cold and snuggly days.
Often, to pass the time indoors, my mother encouraged us to play with paper dolls. I loved it. It was a doll set where you could mix and match silk summer dresses with whispy straw hats. Or you could combine petite leather pumps with a tweed stitched pencil skirt. This was probably one of the only games in my childhood where I liked to do the girly stuff. I think this is also the reason for my terrible shopping problem and bursting wardrobe.
Anyway, with this kind of weather I always seem inspired to do crafts. Recently I found this ‘cut out’ site (here) on the net and I am now obsessed. It really brings a joy to rain and staying indoors.
