Sharon Sampson's Reflections
Opens Saturday 26 June 10 am with coffee
The SA Print Gallery is proud to show new work by Sharon Sampson, a young rising printmaker fresh to Cape Town
Sharon's unique and refreshing new approach to printmaking, has the liquid flow and freshness in her inks that she uses as if using watercolour. Her Koi and water lilies studies are something new and inspiring for Cape Town.
Reflections is Sharon's first major show in Cape Town after an extensive working periods with top local artists Judith Mason, Dianne Victor, and Cyril Coetzee, as well as an interaction with other international printmakers such as Colin Cole.
Her first solo show explores Cape light and movement creating a refreshing contemplation of Cape life and beauty through monoprints and hand made etchings.
